Dr. Ken Simmons

Dr. Ken Simmons graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. He established Simmons Veterinary Hospital in 1983 as a small storefront practice, which has grown into one of the South East�s largest Professional Pet Resort�s, including:

• Emergency-Care Facility

• The Barkers Hotel & Purrington

• The �Bark Parks� at the Barkers Resort

• The �Pawsitively Purrfect� Grooming Salon

• The �Canine Coach� Obedience Training Center

Simmons Veterinary Hospital is staffed with 7 full-time veterinarians and over 50 full-time support personnel. 
A network of 42 computers provides maximum efficiency in a virtual �paperless� environment. Simmons Veterinary
Hospital has been profiled in Vet Economics as a �Practice of Excellence.�  The hospital and Barkers Hotel have been shown on CNBC as well as the Animal Planet. 

Dr. Simmons has given presentations on his �Hi-Tech Hi-Touch� approach to the Veterinary industry, to veterinarians
in Japan, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, and throughout the US.  He is a frequent contributor for several veterinary management and technology publications.
 

  Vanessa Rolfe Animal Consultant                                                               
Vanessa Rolfe, having an interest in birds from an early age, pursued a career in avian medicine before starting Veterinary school. She graduated from VA-MD Regional Collage of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. In Virginia she started a practice Avian & Exotic Veterinary Services in 1992, devoted to birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
In 2004, she was invited to acquire a preeminent avian hospital from a highly esteemed colleague, Dr. Greg Harrison, who was retiring. The Bird Hospital in South Florida, has been opened to Exotic pets as well and is now The Bird and Exotic Hospital.
 

 Kathy Rose Animal Groomer

A professional Groomer for over 25 years, has gained recognition as a top winning stylist in the United States and abroad, winning her place on Groom Team USA on four consecutive teams then, later serving as Coordinator. She has many Cardinal Crystal Achievement nominations, winning the award for outstanding service to the pet industry.
